Staff with only the View Site Details permission can supersede Site Documents that they own. This feature allows users to replace older versions of documents with new ones while keeping the document's history intact.
Overview of the Process
To supersede a Site Document, follow these steps:
1. Log in and navigate to Sites > Sites.
2. Select View Site to enter the site details.
3. In the Site Documents section, you can either go to Actions > View Documents or View Site Documents.
4. Select Manage > Supersede next to the document.
5. On the next screen the following details will be displayed.
Form here you can:
Drag and drop the file here or click it from your computer
Fill in the Uploader Comment
The Version number is incremented by 1 automatically
Select the Expiry Date
Click the Save button to finish
6. To view or download any previous superseded documents go back to the Site Documents list, select Manage > View History.
