Sites with end dates in the past are automatically marked as inactive and hidden from day-to-day operations while preserving all historical data.

Setting Site End Dates
Basic Process
1. Go to Sites Module β Select site β Site Details
2. Enter Start Date and End Date
3. Confirm through the double confirmation dialogue
4. The Site automatically becomes inactive when the end date passes
Key Rules
End dates can only be set to today or future dates
Double confirmation required to prevent accidental closure
Site contacts receive automatic email notifications
Sites become inactive immediately when end date passes

Risk assessments
Equipment assignments
Viewing Inactive Sites
Use the Archived Sites Toggle in the Sites Module:
Toggle OFF: Shows only active sites (default)
Toggle ON: Shows inactive sites with "(Inactive)" labels
