08-10-2025 October 2025 Quick Release V2

Summary

This October quick release addresses several bugs across Forms, Inspections, Staff Management, and SSO Implementation. The release resolves 4 issues (3 bugs + 1 SSO task) ensuring improved system reliability and expanded SSO support.

Forms

  • Site Access Notification Fix - Resolved issue where staff members with form roles were receiving notifications for sites they weren't assigned to or had been archived from. Notifications now properly filtered to only show forms from sites where staff are actively assigned.

Inspections

  • Starter Account Priority Setup - Fixed missing Priority 0 (Highest) in default inspection action priorities for new Starter accounts. New organisations now receive all 4 priority levels (0-3) during setup.

Staff Management

  • Production Error Fix - Resolved "Trying to get property of non-object" error by adding defensive null checks to prevent crashes when accessing staff-related objects that may not exist.

SSO

  • SSO Implementation - Successfully implemented SSO integration for new organisation using Azure AD/Entra ID. Configured SAML 2.0 endpoints, entity identifiers, and X.509 certificates for secure authentication.
