Transferring Actions in Bulk

Introduction

This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough on how to transfer Inspection actions from one user to another. This feature is especially useful when a staff member leaves their role or transitions to a different position, ensuring that all assigned actions are reassigned to the appropriate user.

You will need permission to Add & Edit Internal Employees (previously Staff RW) to manage transferring Inspection Actions in bulk . For more information, see Staff Permissions Overview

1. Go to the Staff module> Staff list.

2. Locate the staff member whose actions you wish to transfer then select Actions > Transfer Actions.

3. Select who to Transfer From and who to Transfer To. Only open actions will transfer unless you remove the checkbox to transfer closed actions. The total amount of actions to be transferred will show underneath. Select Transfer Actions to continue.

If the user you are transferring to isn’t assigned to any Sites with actions in the transfer, you will get a notification. Please see Transferring Actions in Bulk | Handling Site Access during Transfer for more information.

4. Once complete, a pop up will confirm

If the user you are transferring actions to needs to be provisioned for sites you may have two options:

Transfer Accessible Only - Will only transfer actions for sites the new action owner is already assigned to. Any actions from sites they are not assigned will remain with the original staff.

Grant Access & Transfer All - Will grant the new owner access to all required sites and transfer all actions to this user.
