Introduction
The Checklist Items menu provides a complete overview of inspection results, including findings and action requirements.
Staff users who have access to Create Inspections should be able to see the Checklist Items menu and only the items assigned to them. (See Staff Permissions for more information)
Purpose of the Checklist Items Menu
The Checklist Items page allows you to:
View all inspection results in one place
Review findings across inspections
Filter by Pass / Fail / N/A status
Identify which items require action
Navigate to linked Actions (if applicable)
Export checklist data for reporting
It provides full visibility of inspection outcomes — not just tasks requiring completion.
How to Access Checklist Items
1. Log in to ComplyFlow and select the module picker > Inspection > Checklist Items from the sidebar menu.
2. The table displays all Checklist Items from your inspections.
Searching and Filtering
Use the following tools to find specific checklist items:
Search Bar
Enter keywords in the Search bar to quickly find checklist items. The search works with part-match searching, so you don't have to write a full sentence.
Incomplete Actions Toggle
Select the Only Incomplete Actions toggle to filter the list to show only items that have not yet been completed.
Filters Panel
Select the Filters button to open the slide-over filter panel. The following filter categories are available:

Program | Filter by inspection program |
Category | Filter by inspection category |
Status | Filter by checklist item status |
Sites / Projects | Filter by site or project |
Assigned By | Filter by who assigned the item |
Priority | Filter by priority level |
Person Responsible | Filter by the person responsible for the item |
Action Required | Filter by whether an action is required (Yes/No) |
Completed | Filter by completion status |
Finding | Filter by finding result: Pass, Fail, or N/A |
Inspection Status | Filter by the status of the parent inspection |
Due Date | Filter by due date range |
Completed Date | Filter by completion date range |
Inspection Date | Filter by the date the inspection was conducted |
Select Done to apply filters. The filter button will show the number of active filters.
Importing Actions
To import actions from external audit/inspection records via CSV:
1. Select the Import Actions button (top right of the page).
2. Follow the import wizard. For full details, see Import Inspections - Upload CSV.
Exporting Checklist Items
To export checklist item data:
1. Apply any desired filters to narrow down results.
2. Select the Export CSV option to download the data.
Difference Between Checklist Items and Actions
The Checklist Items page provides a complete overview of all inspection items, regardless of whether follow-up is required. In contrast, the Actions page displays only items that require follow-up (i.e. where Action Required = Yes).
