Site Access Monitor: Area Supervisor + Live Access Monitoring
This permission level grants a Staff User access to the Live Access Dashboard along with Area Supervisor capabilities for their assigned sites. It is designed to provide enhanced visibility and control over site operations in real time.
What you can do:
View Live Access Dashboard - Monitor real-time site access activity, including personnel movements and access status.
Edit Hazards - Update or manage site-specific hazards to ensure accurate and up-to-date safety information.
Send Push Notifications - Communicate instantly with on-site personnel through direct push notifications.
Receive Notifications - Stay informed with alerts and updates relevant to site access, safety, and operations.
Approve Permits - Review and authorize work permits as part of site compliance and safety protocols.
Staff Category Matrix that includes the Site Access Monitor Permission
If the Staff Category you are assigning to a user already includes the Area Supervisor access (Site Access Monitor), you need to set up their permission using the Permissions Scheme.

Manually assign the Site Access Monitor permission.
1. Switch to the Advanced tab.
2. Utilise the Toggle Down button to display the available settings within each module, such as Organisation, Staff, Suppliers, Forms, Incident, and Inspection. Select Site Access Monitor from the Organisation > Sites area
3. Use the toggle to set permissions for the Entire Organisation or Assigned Sites Only.
When a new Staff Member is added, the Toggle is set to Assigned Sites Only by default.
When the Assigned Sites Only toggle is selected, the Entire Organisation toggle will be displayed and its colour will change to grey. This action allows you to grant selected permissions for the entire organisation (i.e. for all sites).
When the Entire Organisation toggle is selected for the Site Access Monitor permission, the staff user will be assigned:
Live Safety Monitoring, and
Live Safety Monitoring Global

When selecting the toggle from Entire Organisation, it will switch to Assigned Sites Only and change to blue colour. This action applies permissions to all assigned sites of the User, eliminating the need to update them manually for each Site.
When the Assigned Sites Only toggle is selected for the Site Access Monitor permission, the staff user will be assigned:

4. Select Update Permissions once you have finished. This will apply all of the permissions applied to the Staff Users (at the Org or Site level selected in each module). Keep in mind that Site-level permissions are applied at all Sites the User is assigned to.
Note: If you are adding sites to an existing staff user, refresh their permission by going to the Staff Actions > Permissions area and selecting Update Permissions. Doing so will assign the Staff user as Area Supervisor for the new site.
