External users (i.e. not users in ComplyFlow) can be included in Incident notification. Follow the steps below to add them to Incident module.

Notification groups is a list of people that should be notified about an Incident (can include External Users). A notification rule is created to determine whether a Notification group should be triggered, when the Notification group is triggered it sends the notification out to the right people. An example of a rule might be for any Incident where the severity of an incident is high, then the board may want to receive the notification.
External users allow us to send notifications out to Users that are not in Comply Flow. You need permission to create, edit and manage Incidents (Incident Admin) to be able to add External Users.
How to add Incident External Users
1.Navigate to the Incident Module > Configuration > External Users and select Add.
2. On the following page, fill in the details and select Add.
Once the External User is added you can add them to Notification groups.
3. Select Incident Module > Configuration > Notifications then choose the Notification group where you wish the External User to be added. Select Actions > View dropdown.
4. Proceed to the following screen and then scroll down to locate the section for External Users. Check the box that corresponds to the specific External User you wish to add. Then select Submit.
External Users will have access only to the email notification, not any system access.
Incident Email Notification to External Users
There is an option that will allow you to forward the initial Incident Notification to include up to ten additional external email addresses without the need to add these recipients into Notification group.
This feature can be enabled or disabled per Client
The system will send the email notification to any email address added in this field
If the manually entered email address here matches with any Staff User from the ComplyFlow system linked with the Notification Group, it will not send a duplicated email alert
The email notification for Users who are not an existing entity in the ComplyFlow system (including any External Users selected) will not include any links that direct the User to ComplyFlow (e.g. support, login, etc)
